Dialled Coffee is an independent guide to the best speciality coffee shops in the UK. Not a directory — a short, considered list of places we've chosen ourselves and can stand behind.
We start in Cambridge, a city with a serious coffee scene that doesn't get nearly enough credit. From there, we'll expand city by city, adding only when we can do each place properly — with real visits, real detail, and a genuine reason for every shop that makes the list.

Every shop on the Dialled list has been visited and assessed on its own merits. We look at the coffee itself — the sourcing, the equipment, how well it's being used — but also the space, the atmosphere, and whether it's somewhere worth returning to.
We don't feature chains. We don't feature places where coffee is clearly secondary. And we don't accept payment for listings. If a shop is on here, it's because we think it deserves to be.
Each profile includes the machine and grinder specs, opening hours, wifi status, a note on laptop suitability, what we'd recommend ordering, and an editorial explanation of why the shop made the list. The technical detail — the equipment, the roastery relationships — is deliberate. We think serious coffee drinkers deserve serious information.
Machine specs for some shops are verified; for others we're still confirming details in person. We'd rather say "unconfirmed" than guess.
Dialled is a passion project, built and run independently in Cambridge. It's not backed by a coffee brand, a hospitality group, or an advertising network. It exists because the speciality coffee world deserves a guide that takes it as seriously as the cafés themselves do.
